After more than a decade in the limelight, Blake Shelton — the country music superstar, former Voice coach, and fan-favorite personality — is finally slowing things down. And according to the man himself, he’s never been happier.
In a recent interview, Blake opened up about his decision to step back from Hollywood commitments and return to what matters most: family, home, and the simple joys of everyday life.
“At some point,” he said, “you realize you’ve been chasing the spotlight for so long, you forget what the sunrise looks like from your own porch.”
Blake officially left The Voice in 2023 after an incredible 23-season run that made him one of the most recognizable faces on television. While fans were sad to see him go, the move marked a new chapter for the country crooner — one focused less on fame, and more on faith, farming, and fatherhood.
Married to pop icon Gwen Stefani since 2021, Blake has fully embraced his role as stepfather to Gwen’s three sons — Kingston, Zuma, and Apollo. Far from the red carpets and studio lights, Shelton now spends much of his time at his Oklahoma ranch, doing chores, fishing, gardening, and helping the boys with school projects and sports.
“They changed everything,” Blake said. “Those boys didn’t just steal my heart — they gave me a reason to grow up and grow deep. I want to be there for them the way my dad was for me.”
Gwen has also spoken about Blake’s presence in their home life, calling him “an incredible partner and father figure” and praising his natural way of making the kids feel safe and loved.
